VIP Experience Winners Enjoy a Night at Wrigley

Bob (BA ’82, CERT ‘06) and Ellen Bollow arrived at Harry Caray’s in Wrigleyville VIP-style in a white limousine greeted with the flashbulbs of alumni office paparazzi. Winners of the VIP Experience Contest, Bob and Ellen, along with their guests Bob (a current TEDS student) and Teresa Reitsma enjoyed an all-expenses-paid evening at TEDS/TGS Alumni Night at Wrigley Field on August 12 which included a pre-game dinner at Harry Caray’s and tickets to see the Cubs take on the Philadelphia Phillies. The contest winnings also included plenty of new Trinity gear and Cubs prize packs.

The Bollows entered the VIP Experience Contest by recommending a future student to Trinity. The contest, sponsored by the Trinity College Admissions Office, was created in an effort to encourage alumni to be involved in recruiting new students for Trinity. Alumni often ask how they can stay connected to Trinity. One important way alumni can be involved with their alma mater is by connecting potential new students to Trinity. Alumni possess a unique perspective, having experienced Trinity for themselves, and as a result, have a greater understanding of the type of students who thrive at Trinity. By sharing their own Trinity experiences with potential students and in turn connecting those students to Trinity, alumni have the opportunity to play a significant role in Trinity’s continued success.
